Lily comes to defend her tribe!!

I want to thank everyone for their expressions of comfort and condolences at the sudden passing of my dear, sweet Marlow. I was in a hurry yesterday – painful as it was – I had to go to work before I could share any pictures of my kid. So here are some pictures. One is dated Jan first (whatever year it said) but that’s wrong. That was taken when I forgot to set the date on the camera. I have no idea the actual date (or even what year) it was taken. A couple pictures show Marlow’s brother Ike too.

Grieving today as (cousin) Emma crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night.

Poignant message from her co-rescuer follows:

_Emma Davydov RIP lil Emma. Oh Jean, such sad news!! I have lived all these years w the joyous knowledge & thoughts that our little rescue is warm, fed, & LOVED!!! _

Don’t remember meeting Marlowe when Carol and me were over that day, but the orange one who was outside with us was a real pal and the one on the couch who was ailing was a good girl.

Sympathy and “pretend hugs” for you, kind keeper of the cats, lady. ♥

Hearing about too many deaths lately – feline and human. Over here, Capt. Sir Tom Moore, who raised over £30million for the National Health Service last year by walking laps in his garden, passed away from Covid at 100 today.

If anyone is in/near Seattle, WA, my friend and her family (kids are 11 and 13) heading that way in April. Anything that should be considered a don’t miss?
