Bear in mind they overthrew the person who was in charge of a lot of “ethnic cleansing”… Still a bad precedent, but it might have been better to assure a clean election instead of using a coup to prevent certification of the results.

Myanmar has largely been under military rule for the past 50 years. They partially gave up power a few years ago but apparently missed having the bit in their teeth.

When i got my first Honorable Discharge it was explained to me that any action i took that could be considered connected to the Army could be punished by UCMJ ( Uniform code of Military Justice) Tribunal.

Flynn needs to be Pressed back into service and tried by court martial for his Martial law comments.

The only reason those comments had weight is because he is a retired General.

As a retired General he needs to be Tried.

Anyone interested in something called facts, should search for this…Myanmar: New evidence reveals Rohingya armed group massacred scores in Rakhine state. The group has the acronym ARSA…apparently they were unhappy about Isis having all the fun, so they decided to be even bigger monsters. They went after their neighbor Hindu minority, telling them “You and Rakhine (Buddhists) are the same, you have a different religion, you don’t belong here”. The local Rohingya villagers helped them kill everyone, including the small children. The site your search will take you to is Amnesty International, who I personally regard as pretty reliable, and not known for faux news. ARSA went on to attack Myanmar military posts. Amnesty says that Myanmar did do ethnic cleansing. It would appear that the fuse on that cleansing explosion was lit by the Rohingya version of their own cleansing.
