Lick-spittle Lindsey Graham complained about the House having an impeachment vote without having witness testimony, now he is complaining about having witness testimony at the trial.

The G.O.P. runners may stumble for one last time . . . . permanently. Possibly no longer ‘the pick of the litter’, just nose pickers.

Gotta love the losing faction. “Why/How can you try him when he’s no longer in office?”

Remember when some Europeans were asking “Why should we try these former concentration camp guards who are now in their eighties?”

The moral fibers of Republican party stretched and snapped since they threw in behind Trump in 2016. Now they’re pouring gasoline on the remains and lighting it on fire.

For the defense of President Trump, I’d call Peter Navarro and have him read the entire Navarro Report 3rd Edition. Then I’d have a slide comparison of the crowds at Trump rallies to the Biden Rallies. You might not get an accurate head count at the Trump rallies. But I believe you could at the Biden rallies.

Republicans are afraid their own constituents will kill them. The joys of presiding over a rattlesnake nest.

I suspect that many Democrat voters feel the same way. Those of us who comment here are not average or typical. We are politically active and invested. Most people just want an end to the drama. Both parties. If the Dems proceed with the trial, regardless of outcome, it will be a net loss for them politically.
