Spanish lesson for today: I was with them all the way until Estela said “cerca.” Now, I know that it usually means “close,” but somehow, I got the feeling that Estela meant something else in this context.
But a quick look at the English page pretty much ends that speculation.

Agree with Femi Aminat (on the Baldo English page) – Rayna’s medical condition makes it impossible for them to be close physically.
Intentionally or not, I can see how a robot following you, or you following a robot, would sufficiently de-humanize the operator of said robot.
Not that it can’t be done. But maybe neither Cruz nor Rayna are ready to make it happen.
