Just to get out and do something (even if you don’t get peace and quiet) could be worth it. Some people have had way to much peace and quiet (too much alone time) as things are.)
I always thought that the only good way to ice fish was with a portable shed and heater. Way too cold for sitting around. Skating and playing hockey keep you active and warm (assuming you’re dressed well and it’s not 40 below).
