They all should be removed from office now! All are responsible for inciting violence in the capital. They called to overthrow an election, which is sedition. For years I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what Conservatives are conservative about?

We need to rid the government of the enablers. A two party system has been the foundation of our government, but when one party abdicates its responsibility to govern for all the people and becomes a tool for a narcissistic, would-be despot, it’s time for a change. Perhaps we need a centrist party that eschews the ultra-right and ultra-left and therefore does not have to pander to the extremes to be electable.

That’s what I said Wednesday-the US is now officially a banana republic complete with a “head of state” who has no concept of reality

I spoke with a Trumpist friend Wednesday for the first time in a while. I was appalled to find that he is totally bought in on the “vast conspiracy that deprived Trump of reelection.” This fable is going to divide the country for decades. The only hope is for enough Republican elected officials to come out and state publicly that there was no fraud. Cruz, however, is completely without honor end is no more concerned about anything other than his own political future than is Trump, and will never do so.

These three are certainly full of blame, but let’s remember all the Republicans who voted against impeachment or conviction. They let this happen. I think of Susan Collins, who said that Trump had learned his lesson. Yes, he learned that you will let him get away with anything. Any Republican who did not make a public stand against this demagogue is complicit in what happened. And you can’t say you didn’t know.

This scene will play out in a country that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the U.S. – probably some sh!thole country that will gladly accept Trump’s money (for as long as it lasts)…

WASHINGTON — A man photographed casually sitting with his foot on a desk in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office at the U.S. Capitol while a pro-Trump mob rampaged the halls of Congress was arrested Friday, law enforcement officials said.

Richard Barnett, 60, of Gravette, Arkansas, was taken into custody in his home state on federal charges of entering and remaining on restricted grounds, violent entry and theft of public property, according to a Department of Justice official. Further details were not immediately available.

Last night (1/7) Ted Cruz told a Houston TV station, “The President’s language and rhetoric often goes too far. I think, yesterday in particular, the President’s language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless. I disagree with it, and I have disagreed with the President’s language and rhetoric for the last four years.”

    Unbelievable.
