I’d say he deserves a raise except that his only duties appear to be stealthily insulting his boss, yelling at his coworker to fill out some form, and alienating their single client.
I guess I’ve just never done it right – but I’ve never gotten a raise by asking for it – believe me I’ve tried. I’ve been promoted, and have gotten raises when I have gotten offers for different jobs (which I’ve never taken because by that time the new job looked too attractive), but never when I asked.
