Here we get to see that Michael is also very tired after a night in which April doesn’t sleep (last week’s strips), because the whole family has to deal with it. We also get to see that Michael has a binder that has nothing in it which, considering Mike’s less-than-stellar academic history, is not that surprising.

LOL. My school aged grandson just asked me, “Grandad, what’s a binder?”

Bet there is going to be a strip where Michael is thinking of something peaceful, only to snap out of it when he hears the loud noise of the teacher’s ruler rapping his desk.

Brian was already in the aisle seat. Is it the custom that when someone new gets on you move over? (Long time since I’ve been on a bus).

Naps on the bus never went well in my school. The napper often went through the rest of the day with a Sharpie moustache or bad word on his, or her, head.

Have you ever seen a student doing any school work on the bus?

Mike, if you had thought this through, you could have napped on Bri’s shoulder.

Ah the life of a teenager. Sometimes I miss those days, but most of the time NOT!

Wished I thought of that on long school bus rides, or family long car rides.
