Ruthie to the rescue.

That’s when I text the hubs & ask him to bring home dinner…he never questions my request…which dates back to when we were newly married & I wasn’t currently employed outside the house for monetary gain. He asked me what I do all day. So, I literally wrote down everything I did, the next day, plus a few things I could/would/should have done & handed him the list when he got home. Curiosity satisfied. No more questions. Dinner brought home when I ask for it.

My sister always told me she didn’t need a husband, she needed a wife. :o) Someone to do the laundry, do the grocery shopping, cook the meals, clean the house while she worked outside the home earning the money. She also has a mini-farm where she grows veggies, raises chickens, turkeys and ducks and volunteers for a sustainability society. She finally married a man that likes to shop and cook and is willing to help with the farm chores, so she is almost there. :o)
