Wasn’t hard to see this coming. Pittsburgh has been weakening for weeks – it started showing even before their losing string started. Sloppy offense play, Roethlisberger admitting he wasn’t playing well, key players getting hurt, Pittsburgh’s tendency to play down to the level of their opponents…
As a life long Steelers fan (since before the 1970s Super Bowl wins, when they were the doormats of the league) I hate to say it, but they could very well lose out the rest of the season. Pittsburgh does not have the depth to recover easily, and too many on the current team still have the attitude that they’re just fine.
