It would have cost less to buy a new one. ✨

In the spirit of poetic justice, I’d like to see this crook electrocuted.

Maybe his truck won’t start when he leaves and he’ll need some help…let’s see, evaluation $$$, parts $$$…

Several years ago a local AC repair guy came out and serviced our system, it was about $500.

Last summer he was back, there was a problem. After he fixed it he said, “No charge”. He explained his work was warrenteed and to call back if there were any problems.

I first would ask prices over the phone, process of elimination.

Did Slim check to make sure the dryer was fixed before paying?

The mask comment was clever! … Thinking that Slim really meant ol’ Frankie should be wearing a robber’s mask!! :)

This is why I keep using an older washer and dryer (no computer chips involved)! … If you can find the right part(s), it’s usually not an expensive fix. Even some good repair mean will advise – Keep the older ones, if you can!! :)

I’d say that Slum should burn him when he comes into the garage for auto repairs. But he probably has someone else conned into doing that for him.

At least around here the evaluation charge gets applied to any repairs made, and our repair people don’t charge for travel time (though Two Men and a Truck did when I used them.)
