Life happened can mean a lot of things; bad breaks, drugs, alcohol, good breaks, job in another state/time zone or what I fear; Dad met someone else and now Heart might have a step brother or sister or perhaps even a younger half brother or sister. That is way too complicated for anyone to deal with let alone an 11 year old girl who seems to be doing well without Daddy coming back into her life after such a long absence.

And it’s happening again, right now!

New sibling in 2 … 1 ….

Life happened… Happens to us all, until death happens, and that death is then part of the life of the survivors. Yes, life happens. But it doesn’t require abandoning family.
