Squirrels save for winter. That’s a sort of retirement. But if you’re likely to be eaten by a predator when you get old and slow, you don’t really experience retirement.
Birds, Bugs, Squirrels and Fish don’t start wars, hate other species, rape, or kill their own kind, lie obsessively or destroy their home out of greed and want. Which ones are smarter and have the better life?
