define “or something”, Cagney
A rescue is a rescue, no matter from where.
who rescued who? Each of mine came into my life when I and my family needed them to be a part of us. A home without a dog…is just a house.
My first thought was, did he say, “I was rescued” or “I escaped”?
At least, in a burning building, if that dog were to die, it would be from an impersonal force of nature. In a dog pound, his death would come at the hands of the humans who should be loving and caring for him.
