It struck me that Mr. Fogarty is obviously put out that Luann has fallen asleep in his class. The first thing I thought of is that there are innumerable far worse things that a student could do – falling asleep is at least harmless. The only times I remember any classmates falling asleep in a class were always very funny, like everyone else sneaking out quietly so the offending sleeper would wake up all alone.
