No Bernice, I think she needs something a bit coarser, like your tongue!
It works but removes too much adjacent skin. A sander or grindstone works better. Even then you have to avoid hitting other than the high spots.
Belt sander, fine grit, low speed, for about two weeks!
Bernice’s dry wit is great.
800 grit sand paper.
