The comic’s reversed: they went back to get their MBA — a top school will set you back $200k, plus the income you don’t get, plus any promotions you might have gotten during that time. Then they discovered it was all on Zoom and they didn’t get the professional connections that were one of the main motivations. They finished their degree in a recession when campus recruiting and hiring are down.
Recent articles show that the MBA is no longer the “magic key” to success. The only ones that have panache are so expensive you could spend a lifetime in debt.
