Experience says it isn’t covered and even on things that are covered they still figure ways to “charge” you. Fluids, “extra” parts,,shop fees, “lunch” (just kidding I think)
If he just waits a day or two, he will get a call from the auto repair warranty people and they will get him fixed up… Even better than the bill for the mechanic.I know that fixed is not the right word here, but you can figure out the word they have in mind when they say fix…

I thought that most warranties don’t cover “wear” items like breaks and bearings (unless there is a manufacturer defect).

But, I just bought the car new last week! The mechanic replied, Boy, it lasted a long time. :-(
