Life can be harsh. I remember one time I was sitting with an Aunt and mentioned my car was old and falling apart. She looked at me like I was stupid and said," buy a NEW ONE." It was an old 1972 buick and I told her I couldn’t afford a 1971 buick. She ignored me forever after. Ignore the poor.
This comic is a perfect example of advice columnists. They usually end up telling the person that they need to see a therapist. Which take money that they can’t afford. Another example of things in society that really don’t work is the handling of abusive partners. We just had a case in Volusia county Florida where a boyfriend was about to hit his 59 year old girl friend with a tomahawk, and she reacted in time to shoot and kill him. Thank God Florida has stand your ground, and yes it has been abused but if you look there are a lot more cases where it saved people’s lives.
