Don’t “Like”, but it is possible. Of course he will have the backing of the repubs and the Wealthy Elite, but I wonder about what the Pentagon would do.
NOTHING is below Hair Furor’s attempts to overthrow the results of a LEGAL, FAIR ELECTION in order to stay in office so he can continue to grift the American Taxpayers for HIS OWN PROFIT!
There’s a chill in the air — don’t you all feel it? And it isn’t just the weather. Decent politicians on both sides need to do more than just complacently clutch arms to their sides and shiver.
Scenario One: Trump and his enablers go all Fletcher Knebel on us and attempt a full blown military coup.
Scenario Two: Trump knows he’s lost, but can’t admit it — he has to fight it to keep his based riled up and ready to attend his rallies / subscribe to his YouTube channel / underwrite his lifestyle. (In this scenario, his upcoming lawsuits will be bogged down in the courts until everyone loses interest.)
I think Scenario Two is much more likely but I can’t dismiss Scenario One out of hand and that scares me.
Yes, no more coddling of Trump. He is — at least physically — a grown man, and can no longer be shielded from reality. I look forward, on Inauguration Day, to seeing the Oaf of Office dragged from the Oval Office by representatives from each of the armed services while Trump throws his feces around like a capuchin monkey.
It does appear to me that he’s mostly just trying to use his remaining time to ruin whatever he can get his hands on: Oil leases in national parks for instance.
INteresting that no one wonders what the citizens, not in the military or law enforcement" will do. I’m still waiting for my refund from the IRS. If they aren’t giving it back, when rightfully due, should I pay? would you?
It’s not gonna happen. Trump doesn’t have the military on his side (remember when he referred to veterans and active duty service members as “suckers and losers”?). He also doesn’t have the media on his side (Fox News, Newsmaxx, Brietbart, etc. notwithstanding). Yes his hard core base is stirring up trouble in some places, but so far there has been less violence than feared. Reason ultimately penetrates all but the absolute thickest of skulls. I am confident that Trump will leave the White House on 01/20, and will likely cede the top bunk to his cellmate before he concedes to Biden. This too shall pass.

It’s pretty clear that Agolf Twittler doesn’t actually know any better. The folks that think it’s OK to humor him, however, DO…!

Chill out? Chilling, indeed, because they would do it if they thought they could get away with it. This is not the party of Eisenhower any more.

The longer “you” chill out the bigger trumps army gets. Keep it up at your (and the rest of the worlds) peril.

So the question is how much more will right wingers destroy the USA before Biden can get into office?

Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures; a well placed shoe horn and some grease should pop him out-

Putin is disappointed that his apprentice Trump hasn’t arrested his political foes yet… or at least invited them for tea…

Trump and everyone supporting him need to face the firing squad if he actually goes through with this.

I’d view this as “chilling” – not “chill out”- material. You’re scaring me, Jen!

It is pretty clear that he is doing what he is doing to a) screw with Biden, and b) milk the supporters for donations to pay back his campaign loan.

Keep in mind that in his heart of hearts…Trump is a coward.
