As I’ve posted elsewhere, pollster can be faulted on who the ask, but not on what the people they ask actually say. The main problem is that viewers demand to know for a fact what the future holds, and the pollsters try to answer them.
I thought we declared the pollsters a big looser back in 2016 – but we all went crawling back to the prognosticators for another bellyfull of hope this year anyway.
And you know what . . . we will be back for another big dose in two years.

The big problem with polls is how do you select a representative sample to ask. And then some people flat lie.
