It WASN’T incompetence or negligence at all. Trump’s wish was for the virus to burn through the entire population, and to do so as quickly as possible. Now we are left (should Biden win) with the prospect of an even worse challenge in bringing the ’rona under control. In the meantime, China has a handful of cases pop up, rushes in to test millions, isolates the carriers, and goes on. Factories are opening and their economy is actually growing.
The cartoon is cute but please note – Trump has never possessed a driver’s license, so why would he be “driving” a vehicle (though the results depicted are completely believable!
