There are two basic coaching schools – when a player has a bad day – one says praise the player for trying, the other says yell at the player for failing. Both schools “work” because of one simple fact – player performance varies, even at the highest professional level. No matter which method you use when a player has a bad day, their performance will soon go back to normal.
