Sourest Day
National Greasy Foods Day. I don’t eat many greasy foods. I do like the occasional French fries or bacon, but I rarely eat either of those. I like fried potatoes too. But I won’t be eating anything greasy today.
I remember a paisley couch that was not only shredded, but it was almost as if Toshiba was trying to get it out of the house. We finally took the hint and bought another couch, different material. She never touched that one.
I really enjoyed my Saturday off, watching Jack Benny on AntennaTV all day. Lots of my favorite episodes were shown. And I actually did straighten up the living room a bit while watching the show. Too bad I had to turn it off now because I have to get up early in the morning for work, so I have to go to bed now. I do have a DVD set of Jack Benny, though, so I can watch it whenever I want to. I love that show!
The Decades channel has another of my favorite old programs on too. They have Our Miss Brooks. But they show it at 3:00 and 3:30 in the morning (Central Time). What a stupid time to show it! I wish they’d put it on at a time when I could watch it.
I had one of those vertigo attacks yesterday. Bad enough that it had me in the ER.
Between the Fire Station MedTechs, the Ambulance MedTecs, and the ER i found out three interesting things that might, or might not, be a factor in the cause.
My blood sugar was a little low. My BP was a little low. And, i was slightly dehydrated.
They IV’ed me something for the vertigo, gave me 2 bags of fluid total, gave me a pill for the nausea, and waited it out.
There’s a huge difference between letterboxes and litterboxes. A letterbox is something that mail is put in and a litterbox is something that- let’s just say what goes into a litterbox is NOT something you’d want to find in a letterbox and leave it at that. On another note, saw two chickadees and two varied thrushes while out walking today. I also saw a wren outside. Yesterday, I saw a barred owl outside. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
We have a locked letterbox, so if I found a cat surprise in there, it would be pretty amazing. I’d have to put a camera out there to see what was going on. We still have several inches of snow on the ground so I stayed in today. Didn’t even see any creatures in the house……thankfully.

There’s a huge difference between letterboxes and litterboxes. A letterbox is something that mail is put in and a litterbox is something that- let’s just say what goes into a litterbox is NOT something you’d want to find in a letterbox and leave it at that.
