One of the most important skills a conman has to cultivate is to believe anything he says. This is easy for Donnie, because he has no idea what the truth is and doesn’t care.

This is another cartoon that is beyond the grasp of the Trump Disciple.

They understand greed and hatred of Those People.

    .

Empathy? Not part of their world view.

tRump is a sociopath. His supporters point to his emotional outbursts as proof of his “empathy”. They’re conflating expressing unfiltered emotion with the ability to feel what someone else is feeling. I remember watching him in a group of world leaders, always looking around, trying to fit in like the cool kids, trying to mirror what they do, then giving up and resorting to his bullying behavior. It IS sad. The way he behaves is not excusable, but it is sad. Mirror neurons allow us to feel an emotion when we see someone else experience it. Sociopaths’ brains have reduced mirror neuronal activity, so they can’t empathize with another’s pain or sadness. The other sociopaths in his cult recognize him for what he is, and the non-sociopaths in his cult cannot see him clearly because they assign empathy to him and so justify his motivations based on what they are feeling (and so assume that he is feeling those same things).
