At my age its the only way not to spend a day crying. I’m how old?

I never thought it would happen…Vegas is closed from Monday thru Thursday. They actually had to retrofit locks on the Casino doors.

At 78 years old, yes I would like to ignore it.

Birthdays are really no big deal anyway, considering how many people in the world have the same birthday.

Today is:

National Youth Confidence Day

National Brandied Fruit Day. I’ll have my fruit today, thankyou, WITHOUT the brandy.

National Pharmacy Technician Day

Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity.

I’ll be 65 on Thursday. Got my medicare card the other day. Signed up for SS. Next month I’ll sign up for Part “B” starting the first of the year. Looking into Medigap insurance and insurance for the wife. Things are falling into place for retirement :) I can’t wait!

I did this year. Also, Passover, and the annual family reunion.

I’m coming up on 70 in Dec and this is my plan for it.

Got all 3 computers back about an hour ago. Have been cleaning up one laptop and catching up on news, etc.

Chesney depicted yet again on today’s card. Just how would HE like it if Annie and 9 other kitties (10 including Mimieux) ignored HIS birthday. Someone needs a hug. (Noreenkloss is needed).

I’d rather not ignore my birthday, but, hey, to each their own. On another note, saw three ravens, a sparrow, and a rabbit while out walking today. I also saw a wren and a chickadee outside.

I’m 74 (august). My daughter creates very nice birthdays for me. Until this year, she would throw a party and invite my friends. This year was a bit of a surprise (I was not expecting anyone but Sarah) when Yesmin’s mother made a tres leches cake for me and the whole family came in wearing masks and we ate cake (5 kids, 2 mamas, my daughter and me). My daughter’s birthday is next week. I will make her favorite chocolate cake, and we will go to town and pick up take out lunch, then I’ll make something special for dinner. There will be presents from all her cats and her dog and her many chickens…and me.
