Not Republicans, but rather Trumpublicans that are rabid about voting for their holy lord and master Trump.
The real Republicans are united in opposition against Trump, and are willing to hold their collective nose to vote for the most centrist of all Democrats, Biden. Knowing that while they oppose much of what he stands for, he’s willing to bend over backwards to compromise in ways that Trump has shown he never will, and that he will govern professionally and effectively and honestly in ways Trump has shown, over and over again, he is utterly incapable of.
The real Republicans hope that they can scrape together enough respect and support, once the dreadful nightmare of the Trump regime is gone, to rebuild their once-respected party to a faint glimmer of it’s past glory.
