I peeked but did not buy—need to save $$—who knows what the economy will do next.

That’s me. I was looking today, even though I can’t think of one single thing I need or want.

I retired and have been cleaning out closets and such. I have filled several huge bags full of yarn, good clothes (many unworn), towels, sheets, a new unused comforter, blankets, etc. — I bought all new linens at a big sale.

The only charity that picks up where I live (downtown, I walk everywhere, don’t drive) is the Salvation Army and I just learned that they are not picking up anything except furniture. I will have to put all this stuff in the trash.

Ah, reality. Amazon’s one of the few companies that, by their design, are pandemic-proof. Except for groceries and meds, I’ve done almost all my shopping from them over the last 7 months. (Just got a part for my phone and a holiday ornament yesterday; the rest of the order arrives later in the week.)

If I needed it, I would have already bought it or it’s on sale because nobody needed it. “Sales” are a terrifically bad use of consumer time.
