This whole season is a mess for all of us . What is going to happen next ? One thing is for sure who ever wins a championship ring will always remember the year it was won in . The scary 2020 the COVID-19 year .
One can argue that the NBA and NHL championships are legit since they got to play nearly full seasons, and even survived expanded playoffs. The World Series winner, however, will definitely need an asterisk for how short the baseball season was this year.
And what about the 2020 – 2021 seasons for these sports? They would normally be underway right now. Or at least training camps and exhibition games. A bigger, longer bubble for each? Six Canadian NHL cities (We can do without Winterpeg) being the bubbles for the league?
