Christie was the one who reminded the team that Biden had courageously overcome a terrible childhood stutter to become a (mostly) eloquent speaker, with the occasional gaffe, and that it remains a life-long challenge. Successful stutterers develop strategies for pacing their speech, and Christie cruelly advised Trump to interrupt relentlessly to throw him off his pace and try to force him into a stutter. This was an intentionally cruel strategy trying to avoid issues, which Trump cannot deal with, and deliberately sabotage the event.
Speaking of Chris Christie (the one who said we needed to accept a certain number of COVID deaths in order to re-open the economy), Christie has also tested positive and is hospitalized (apparently no longer so eager to accept “a certain number” of deaths if that includes himself). Also testing positive is Bill Stepien, formerly chief of staff when Christie was New Jersey governor, and the architect of the infamous “Bridgegate” scandal. As to whether or not Christie of Stepien will survive COVID themselves, well, we’ll cross that BRIDGE when we get to it.
There is always the possibility that there will be no further “debates” – Trump is not over his bout with Covid-19 (aka the Trump Virus). There are any number of people who have contracted the virus who have not completely recovered six months afterward – and they were athletics who were in much better shape than Donnie John ever thought of being – lifting a “quarter pounder” to one’s mouth is not really any kind of exercise

According to “The Onion”, who should have a seat in the press room if OAN is allowed to ask questions, Guiliani has tested positive for a slew of obscure bat diseases… but not covid-19
