I hate this “honey do” trope, ugh. And here, it looks like a novel. Does the wife want him to do chores for everyone in town?

I thought it would be about Pluggers being forced into a minimum wage job when they don’t have a pension to fall back on.

The only honey do I do is to look for honeycombs and eat all the honey in em.

The wife expects me to get something done EVERYDAY!!!!!! oh sure i got a new feather duster for my birthday, it’s a nice one, but come on……..

I retired from my ‘day job’ and guess what—I still have to do my non-paid work every day at home. Cooking, cleaning, washing, grocery shopping, . . . I wonder when I’ll get to just sit around and do only what pleases me. Oh, and the honey do list? It mainly consists of things that he-who-is-retired never got around to doing before, because he didn’t have the time.

Generally, the one thing about Honey-Do lists is the deadline lines are usually dictated by Mother Nature.

One thing we’ve learned even after you’re retired the work never ends!!!!

You lose all your benefits as well.. no more company medical.. free pens.. paper clips

My house sets on a corner lot. I have 2 front yards that must be maintained. Watering system always needs repairing, lawns mowed, leaf raking, flowers replanting, roses trimmed, two fronts of the house spruced up, and on and on it goes.

Yes there is a lot more to do for less money, but you can take a break (nap) whenever you want.
