Perhaps we could start by identifying the right patient. Small businesses needed more of the stimulus, and thanks to the Republicans got far less than big corporations.
False equivalence, which is no less than what I expect from right wingers. The Democrats can’t get the GOP to look out for the people who need it and the GOP doesn’t really give a rat’s patootie if anything passes unless it’s yet more payola for the obscenely rich… At least that’s the way I see what’s going on. Your mirror may differ.
The Republicans want to give most to Corporations, and let it ‘trickle down’. They want to give billions to religious organizations, because they support Trump. And they want no accounting, because that would amount to transparency, something they fear more than God.

Trickle up is more reliable than trickle down and is the much better choice. Or we can erect guillotines.

Save some of the charge in those paddles. Lisa could maybe use them to jumpstart her brain cell. /s (<:}

I don’t necessarily agree with Lisa Benson, but today, at least, she has a real issue.

This is where a “deus ex machina” jumps in, grabs the paddles and shocks the economy into a temporary ,but necessary, period of inflation.

Hard to tell whether this cartoon is about stimulating covid-19 or using covid-19 to stimulate something else. (½/s)
