Trump was forced to go to military school, they made Trump do things Trump not like, Trump hate military, threatened to disinherit his kids if they joined the American military.

Obviously Trump is not a patriot.

I personally think Trump’s comments are reprehensible, but then that’s him. However, as a non-American I’ve always found the apparent veneration of Military service hard to understand. Most mainstream European democracies don’t place much (if any) emphasis on military service as an indication for fitness for high office.

One kind explanation I’ve heard is that Service in any form is an indicator of fitness for office, and I guess that’s true to a degree.

So back to the Orange one. How, in a society which seems to value a background of service did Trump (who only seems to serve his self interest) ever manage to achieve The Oval Office.

Cohen says the Trump Tower plans called for a 120-story building in Red Square, including 30 floors devoted to a five-star hotel with an Ivanka Trump-branded spa and Trump restaurants, and 230 high-end condominiums for Russian oligarchs and leaders.

The plan, Cohen adds, was to give the penthouse apartment to the Russian president for free, in part “as a way to suck up to Putin.”

“The whole idea of patriotism and treason became irrelevant in his mind,” Cohen writes. “Trump was using the campaign to make money for himself: of course he was.”

Cohen says the whole family was aware of the project.

Probably too subtle for some people, especially since #45 has pretty much flipped the bird at the military, with both hands.

A left-hand salute is a sign of disrespect, a put-down of those meriting a proper salute.

Decorated war veteran and former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander:

“Why are the troops for President Donald Trump?”People are constantly asking me this question, and for four years, I’ve been answering it the same way: “The military leans slightly toward the conservative side, but so would any American workplace in which only 1 in 5 employees is a woman and the workforce is drawn heavily from the South and Midwest.”

But from now on, I can just say, “They don’t,” because the latest Military Times poll has former Vice President Joe Biden leading Trump among military voters, and it’s not difficult to brainstorm a litany of possible reasons why.Trump refuses to defend America from Russian attacks on our democracy, or to confront Russian President Vladimir Putin about the price he has placed on the heads of American service members. Biden has a record of standing up to America’s adversaries and enemies, as well as marshaling the help and support of our allies.Biden has reflected honestly on his initial support of the Iraq War, calling it a mistake, and demonstrating that he’s learned from it. Trump, on the other hand, supported the war until it turned out to be a disaster, at which time he pretended to have been against it all along. Having learned nothing from Iraq, Trump took us to the brink of all-out war with Iran simply because he wanted to appear tough. As U.S. senator, Biden worked tirelessly to secure funding for heavily armored vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan and state-of-the art prostheses at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Trump recently ordered the military to assist in using chemical agents on peaceful protesters so that he could take a picture in front of a church while holding an upside-down Bible.

Kander concludes: This all brings me to the real reason our troops prefer Biden to Trump, because, in reality, it’s much simpler than the indictment I’ve laid out above. In the military, leadership is more than just a buzzword. It’s at the foundation of everything we do, which is why that same Military Times poll reported roughly 3 out of every 5 military officers to have a “poor view” of the president. Our troops — no matter how deep their ancestral Republican roots may be back home — know bad leadership when they see it, and they see it plainly in Donald Trump. In Joe Biden, they see a steady leader who has confronted challenges in his life more difficult than elections, and — even if they don’t always agree with his politics — that’s something they can respect. So no, the military doesn’t support Trump’s campaign. The troops are hoping we relieve their commander in chief and give them one worth following.

For those wondering, “How the HECK (and things) can people fall for idiotic, insane, and evil cult leaders”, try looking up Boyd Householder. You won’t be disappointed. (Okay, if you think man has risen all THAT far above amoebas, you might very well be disappointed……) What’s the difference between Li’l Donnie and Li’l Boyd? Not a helluva lot.

FYI, The drum major of the 3rd Infantry Fife and Drum Corps is the only person in the army, who by regulation is authorized to salute with his left hand. https://www.google.com/search?q=old+guard+fife+and+drum+corps+drum+major+salutes&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS862US862&sxsrf=ALeKk00FXWF6TdnDProOfsQtWl3bARG7eg:1599421991717&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=7gR9fh1D3ExTdM%252CzrLl-UEjoUHKKM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTNbFY_9EVgSAFMh6XgwUViCzim1w&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjG2aWdp9XrAhUDZKwKHXE9B6QQ9QF6BAgJEAw#imgrc=kDdG6D7vR8qu-M

“What’s he got in his right hand”, you ask. Well, we can eliminate Monica’s hand for starters.
