    Good morning Vagabonds

Another cool morning, I called it 57 on our antique thermometer. Got to get a digital thermometer with wireless sensor to put on the north side of the house so the sun doesn’t affect it. Well, the one who dose the website for channel 3 has called today’s high lower than the current temperature. That seems to be a bit bass ackwards if you ask me. So, if that is the case today’s high should be 59, overcast, slight chance of rain.

Gary showed a precipitation map for the nation, we are below normal but, the Pacific North West was shown to be above normal. I hope it works out that way and the fires are quenched.

As your day progresses may it be fill with God’s great blessings.

    Buenas Dias, Dkram / Vagabonds…

My fave weatherman here in S. Florida has kept us updated on Hurricane/Depression Sally. He says what we experienced here last Saturday 9/12, as a storm then known as Nineteen, was the “precursor” to Sally. I knew/know that Nineteen grew into Sally…I am just commenting on meteorologist’s term “precursor.” Interesting; I would not have come up with that word on my own. I commented on “precursor” Nineteen on 9/12.

    Benitin & Eneas:

Say boy I want you to wake me up tomorrow at seven..and wake me up gently! Do not call me on the phone or knock on my door or startle me!

Well, the hotel guest won’t be started by the note under the door! lol

    Good Smokey morning, Vagabonds,

The weather is supposed to be ‘sunny’, but the smoke is so heavy you can’t see the sun! I can’t wait for the Pacific weather to include some rain to put out the fires! Our air is still in the red zone. It’s supposed to be 76 today, but with the heavy smoke we’ll be lucky to break 66. We’re expecting a cold front to come on Saturday. Hopefully it’ll push the smoke away.

I have a hair cut today, then we’ll run a few more errands. Stay safe.

    xoxo Happy Trails

Morning everyone. I normally don’t check this comic much, but I know davidf42 is here often. He usually posts everyday on Annie, hasn’t been there for three days. Just wondering if he is allright?

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Not much happening here. Michael is doing well after his second operation. He’s not nearly as impatient as he was after the first one because he knows pretty much what to expect.

I heard from an old friend of Mike’s this morning. We’ve known him and his brother since they were all 7 years old and he’s a pretty good guy. It was nice hearing from him.

I took Smokey out for a walk this morning, and she caught a baby lizard. Unlike Pinto, she won’t eat them, she just keeps picking them up and putting them down again to see if they will run away from her so she can chase them again. They are smart enough to freeze and she eventually loses interest and walks away. Then they high tail it for the nearby tree.

Laundry today, postponed from yesterday (because of Michael’s surgery). Such an exciting life we lead….

Our forecast is again in the low 100’s, but right now it is still cool enough to have the doors open for the fresh air. I have no doubt that we will have to close up soon, though.

Say a little extra prayer for David. See Mark Thomas’ comment above.

Everyone be safe and have a blessed day.
