I know an awful lot of Europeans who wish they could vote for POTUS. Also, some in North and South America. Oh, and Asia. Africa seems interested. Oops! Australia and Oceania as well!

It’s true that this year’s election is essentially, as they say, a “referendum on the President.” That’s nothing new; when you have an incumbent running for reelection that’s usually what it boils down to, an even midterm elections are often framed that way (usually in retrospect, when the House changes hands).

What’s different this year is that somone wearing an ’Anyone but Trump" shirt may well be an elephant…
