The great thing about an editorial cartoon like this, since it’s totally vacuous, is that Mr Kelly didn’t actually have to listen to any of the speeches, still less analyze them. The fact is that Trump himself and his merry band of gargoyles are shining targets for all kinds of legitimate criticism. As Mrs Clinton put it, Trump asked “what do you have to lose?” in voting for him. “Well, now we know.”
How long has he been saving that one? Long enough so it isn’t clever. But that is just my critique of the humor aspect. For appealing to political ideologues, it is spot on!

Planning for what is possible is a whopper? Having goals to make things better than they are is BS? Being fearful of reaching for bigger things together is a fairy tale? No wonder Conservatives are so bitter and fearful- they have no minds for seeing how the future can be. Is that Nurture or Nature do you think?
