Bought a $20 home barber kit. Takes five minutes and at current prices I am saving about $250 a year. That’s a whole lot of new toys without changing the home budget.
In 1973 my barber shop, next to a hardware store, doubled their prices. I went into the hardware store and bought a hair cutting setup. My wife has cut my hair ever since. Once, when stationed in a small town with one very poor barber, my wife had many requests to cut hair. She only did for a few friends and never accepted money in payment, to keep from running afoul of cosmetology regulations.

After a few “cuts”, my barber decides to give me HIS usual. That’s when I change barbers!
