PAC12 and Big10 have put off all sports until year’s end, if I recall what the TV was blathering right before supper.
I’m always amused/horrified by the people who are all “Yeahbut, the economy!” about such decisions. Amusing because it sounds so much like “I’d like to go out with you, but I have to sort my hangnails.” Horrified because it sounds like they’re touting kid-sized coffins.
The Trump 1% thinks the Covid-19 is like a PINATA that will break open and shower THEM with money . . .Lucy and Charlie will die penniless of the Kung FuFlu. It is what it is.
Good one and I am glad to see the conferences are considering postponing the season until spring. It’s the most logical thing they can do at this point.
My wife and I absolutely love watching College Football. We’ll wait.
Heck, Buttercup booted the ball in 2016 and has just been kicking it around for the last 4 years. His mind is like the sensor in a roomba: it doesn’t recognize when it has hit a wall.
College football is the only sport I follow with any regularity. I would genuinely miss it this year, both as a diversion and as a sign of better times to come. But I’ll gladly give it up, as a fan and supporter, rather than losing even one young man to Covid for no other reason than my gratification.

Move American football games to a country that has corona virus under better control than us. There are plenty of them. Wonder why.

It’s about time for Charlie to boot Lucy.

But it’s a tradition! Not playing would be an unpatriotic capitulation to reality!

If Republicans had handled the covid crises correctly in the first place you could have had your football.

Playing college football is just another desperate attempt to show that everything is back to normal.
