I have to speak up about a highy inappropriate aspect of this sequence of comics. The little boy is in the sleeping compartment with the Mom. That means that the parents found it acceptable to place the little girl in a tight space with Daddy overnight. It all is presented as so innocent,but in fact 1 out of 4 girls will be sexually molested before the age of 18. The assumption that this sleeping arrangement is “normal” places the girl child in an impossible situation, as she is too young to understand or protect herself if her father behaves inappropriately. The Mom’s job (and the Dad’s) should be to be more aware and putting the child in these circumstances.

VIA rail trains haven’t any overhead compartments. There is however a compartment that folds out into an upper bunk.
