’m guessing Kevin Necessary doesn’t think too much of de Wine’s backing down on the hydroxychloroquine after his state pharmacy board banned using it for covid-19 or the stupidity of leaving the bars open just when the case numbers are rising.
Back in my younger days, the little local bars would turn out their outside lights and lock the front door at two a.m. (last call was at 1:30 a.m.)… from the outside the place looked closed (unless you noticed cars still in the parking lot) while it was still business as usual inside… it was all just a show so the local police could pretend that the law was being followed… often a cop or two was in there drinking with us…

If you can’t get enough to drink in a bar by 10 pm, stop at a supermarket on the way home and buy a six pack or a case if need be. Drive safely.
