Trump is a populist candidate, not a GOPer, or TEA party member. His past will haunt him in any serious campaign.

    Next panel:

    “I’m leading in the polls.”

    “Come right in, sir!”

Trump isn’t a populist candidate. He’s an egomaniac candidate at best. He’s just plugging his show. Watch. According to the law, unfortunately he can stall a while before filing, which would reveal once and for all what his financial circumstances are (“4-5 billion” as he says, or between $150 million and $250 million, as New York Times reporter Timothy O’Brien claimed?), and he won’t do that - it’s one of his biggest selling points.

Donald Trump is as serious a Republican candidate as Al Sharpton was for the Democrats. Neither one is to be taken seriously.

Ultimately he’ll just be a comic sideshow, like the Rent is Too bleeep High candidate in NYC. (Don’t bleep me. Its the name of the party!!)

Trump would likely get all of the late night comedians’ vote, including Letterman’s horn section.
