Dumbo IS sad, they take his mother away from him and are mean to him. I never liked watching that movie, however my uncle had taped it for us when it was on tv so the same VHS also held A Garfield Christmas and A Peanut’s Christmas, both of which I love.

The part that always makes me cry is when Dumbo’s Mom is locked up, and she puts her trunk outside of the cage bars to cradle Dumbo. sniff
