In the late ’60s there was a show called the 21st Century, about new developments & where they may go. Their story on him was where I heard about his heart design. It also showed his innovation in animation, filming live actors, then painting the cells.
I always enjoyed him and Jerry’s “off-the-wall” humor – along with “Farfel” the dog (no “relation” to Paul Winchell) he was just a puppet I enjoyed – I’ve always enjoyed “puppets” and puppeteers.
