I switched jobs at work and went from working days to working nights

It’s one day when I go in and another when I get off and I rarely have 2 shifts off in a row

It’s been a little hard for me to remember what day it is, but it’s only been about as month so far

The ‘special’ thing about today, is that it is ‘the day day before tomorrow, and by strange coincidence, the day after yesterday.’

“Tomorrow” never arrives, since it becomes “today” eventually.

My Father, who was born in 1901, had a wry sense of humor. He was hospitalized a couple of times after he retired for some minor surgery. On one ocasion, the doctor asked him if he knew what day it was. My Father replied, “Hell, no. I’m retired. If I want to know what day it is, I look at the newspaper!” The other time, during the Reagan administration, the doctor asked him “Who’s the President of the United States?” My Father, after ruminating a bit, said “Roosevelt.” The doctor’s eyebrows went up bit. Then, my Father, with a twinkle in his eye, said “Teddy” and the doctor’s eyebrows went way up. My Mother and I and were trying to stifle a giggle, and the doctor is looking at us like we’re all lunitics. Then my Father blurts out "Okay, it’s Reagan…damnit!! And we all cracked up.He’s been gone 27 years and I still miss him.
