1. Students and parents telling them to go home.
2. A naked woman (some of these troops have never seen a naked woman).
3. Arm-linked Moms (shaming them as only Moms can do).
4. Veterans of REAL wars (with moral & ethical questions they can’t answer).
Strategy: Their opposition up ’til now have all been innocent and weak-looking in order to lull them into complacency . . . in preparation for being flanked by a squadron of rogue grandmothers with militarized walkers – what might seem to be a Geritol drip is really an alcohol-fueled flamethrower with not less than a 30 meter range . . .
Yep. Granny’s gonna melt your Kevlar right down to your Underoos – with your shortcomings on full display, and shamefully send you home with your tails between your legs . . .
This is NOT 1930’s Germany – not by a long shot!!!
President Trump’s Executive Order of June 26 is the basis for impressing enforcement staff from DHS agencies for riot control. Not their intended purpose but Trump couldn’t get authority to use the military unless he invoked the Insurrection Act. I’m sure if Congress had any thoughts that DHS staff would be used in this fashion, there would not be funding for it.
We need to remember Lewis, Vivian, Cummings, Lowery and so many luminaries and prophets who preached nonviolence and good trouble. If the image seen is of armed demonstrators creating mayhem, that will be what is remembered by the mass of folk who have been influenced to support the movement. Let 45’s SS create the frightful images indelibly imprinted in the mass of voters. Let us not fall into 45’s attempts to distract us and deflect the movement.
I didn’t think the G.O.P. in Congress had anything to say, but people are saying they could be heard singing in their closed door meeting “Onward Christian Soldiers” while watching the Trump Police gassing and beating people in Portland.
The “both parties funded us for another year” truly stings as it’s SO true and right now Democratic Party leaders are ready to fund them for another year again. So sad.
