The one problem I never had was boredom. Never lacked for a variety of things to do. Even in quarantine, as long as I had something to read and something to write with, I was good.

One + side to Ol’ Timers is they forget why they were mad @ you!

The upside of dementia? Every day is new.

Barney does the same things every day and he never seems bored.

Cynthis lives on a very nice estate, if the drawings are correct. She has access to books, art supplies, the internet, video games, toys, and whatever else she can talk her dad into getting for her.

I had very little of those things as a child (except books, we always had LOTS of books, thanks be), but I learned early to scrub the word BORED from my vocabulary. Any adult who heard a child speak the word back then would gleefully find something for them to do.

Clean your room, sweep the floor, help make breakfast/lunch/dinner, pull weeds, harvest from the garden, run errands – the list was endlessly NO FUN. Someone needs to introduce this concept to Cynthia and family.

Yes, I love comic strip chaos!

You said the same thing yesterday, Cynthia.
