Dressing up means everything? I don’t use Zoom. My system doesn’t have a camera or microphones. If I need to talk to someone, I use a phone (landline, not my smartphone). It’s called OPSEC.
If we need to conference, it’s wither via phone, or MS Teams (without video).
I use Zoom every day. Usually three or four Zoom meetings per day. I find them much more preferable to phone calls even when it’s one-on-one, but when there are 5 – 10 people, seeing each other makes a use difference. But I still dress up on top for the meetings because it’s still business.
At least he’s not on his Golden Throne Tweeting wearing a cardboard Crown from a hamberder joint. Has special “White Power” toilet paper and a sign on the door that says, “Masks Required” – Mike Pence, V.P.
The last picture reminded me of a few of the engineers I worked with back in the 1990’s. One guy wore orange T-shirts because they hid the pizza stains better.
And right along with the degradation of wardrobe and grooming is the decline in number of people who actually make a living wage. But that’s been happening for quite a while now.
Much prefer pro apps like GoToMeeting Business. Probably still has some vulnerabilities, but none that have affected things (as far as I can tell). Spec’ed and installed one of the old Video Conferencing systems in a new boardroom about 20 years ago. Much more secure, but not all that user friendly…
As a carpal tunnel sufferer, I was immediately caught by the correct hand angle (though the keyboard is too high)… which cannot work with the keyboard that is depicted. Hmmm.

The cartoon is not accurate: A stay-at-home person’s likely increasing girth in the tummy area would move the keyboard farther and farther away. (—

I’ve had two job interviews in the past couple of weeks. I must say that I like interviewing in a pair of shorts with a collared shirt and tie on.

To be more accurate, shouldn’t the guy in the first panel be typing on a typewriter?
