If Chesney has fleas, it’s likely all 10 cats have fleas. Annie has her work cut out for her ridding them all of fleas.

@LastRoseOfSummer 1 . . . I hope you can open this picture showing ‘Augie’, who celebrated his 98th birthday yesterday. His very kind caregiver, Kim, of Always There Healthcare, posted it on the Bernie and Sid in the Morning Facebook page minutes ago. How lovely seeing all those birthday cards! Bet he got a kick out of your enclosed Las Vegs chip too. I put a special Forever stamp on my envelop depicting a WW 1 soldier. So it looks like Augie wasn’t forgotten after all. Thank you again.

Fleas are bad enough, but fleas with colds? Uh oh, time to break out the flea collars! On another note, saw three robins, a rabbit, and a towhee while out walking today. I also saw a sparrow and a butterfly outside.

My daughter caught the would-be chicken thief (raccoon) overnight. It was sitting in the live trap this morning with a very grumpy look on its face. She took it across interstate 40 to the far end of my soybean field and let it go. She said it shot out of the cage, and went straight up a tree. Our neighbor, Rex, said it would probably be back tonight.
