Before retiring: 0 operations. Since retiring: 5 operations — 2 hernias, 1 torn meniscus, 1 rotator cuff, 1 prostate. (What? Too much information?)
Well I decided I wasn’t going to become an old person always talking about his illnesses. But let me tell you I’ve had 2 cancers, back surgery, heart…………..
Even with good insurance, lung surgery is a ‘killer’ on a fixed income.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the fix wasn’t so low.
Hey, at least you have a fixed income, pal. A lot of us don’t even have that.
My late great-aunt Mary used to say that the so-called Golden Years are really the Rusty Years. How right she was!
This is my future I’m looking at here.
