She can use her swirling eyes to hypnotize other people, like Kaa in The Jungle Book.

Sometimes, I feel like trying to find the GoComics version of these isn’t worth the effort.

Reminds me of a scene in the Twelve Tasks of Asterix.

Would be impressive except Pinkie beat her to it during her “Evil Enchantress” bit.

From what I hear, this could still happen to the hypnotized, though. Contrary to popular belief, you can’t actually make a hypnotized person do anything. If their senses of self-preservation or moral standings are strong enough, that can still override the hypnotism and allow them to refuse (or be extremely reluctant to the point its impractical to try).

I don’t know if it’d be enough to actually refuse a command to clean somebody’s room, but I understand its theoretically possible.

Watch the pretty coin of gold, and you will do as you are told. You are brave, and that’s a fact. You will do the high wire act.

I learned how to do hypnotism when I was about 12. It works, sort of, but I never managed to get anybody all the way under. Maybe I’m just too low on the Mesmer scale. Though I did get my neighbor-kid to start going to sleep on time. Which nobody ever credited me for.

I did some P+HU fan fiction a while ago (just in my head), where Phoebe hypnotised Marigold. (Long story short, Phoebe made Marigold give her all her magic so she could have some fun with it… but without her magic Marigold turned into a fat, ugly stinky donkey, and it took Phoebe AGES to work out how to put everything right – especially as Marigold ((who now had the mind of a donkey)) kept trying to eat her hair and clothes!)
